A little about me
My name is Jodie, I'm a cognitive behaviour psychotherapist and Muslim convert. I'm a mum and wife who loves to bake (badly), craft and read.

Experience

I am passionate about helping people, and I believe with my experience I'm equipped to help you. I have worked with people of all ages for over 14 years, and specifically in mental health therapy for over 9 years within the third sector (charities), local authorities and the NHS.

House of Healing CBT

House of Healing CBT came about following my own CBT treatment for postnatal PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder or trauma). I absolutely benefitted from the therapy provided, but I missed the spiritual aspect. I wanted, and feel others deserve, a faith based evidence based therapeutic approach. My hope is that taking a truly holistic approach to therapy will include you as a whole, not just a presenting problem.
Working interests

As a psychotherapist, we often have areas of special interest in our work. I value working with women who struggle with worry, low self esteem or those who are self critical. I also have significant experience and interest in working with neurodiverse people, in particular those who are Autistic or have ADHD.
